Attention, an elective payment (Pastor Ryan Lee)

The Word of God, once received demands a response.  We cannot stay neutral, either we are saved by it and transformed into the image of Jesus or we are condemned by it, preparing the ground for our final judgement. Therefore, how will we choose to pay attention to it?

Made to worship

Made to Worship.jpg

Worshiping God is more than standing in church singing songs. Worship is a way of life, an attitude we carry with us wherever we go. This sermon is challenging you to respond to who God is and the things He has done in our lives, even in a pandemic time like the one we are living in these days.

HOW JESUS PRAYED

The pandemic outburst of the COVID19 is showing us that fear can be a devastating thing! it is good to be reminded that Jesus literally stepped out of eternity into time to live among us and experience our humanity. He was able to fulfil His mission, becoming a perfect high priest, approaching boldly and confidently the Father in prayer. This sermon encourages you to assume a posture of faith and and to approach God today with confidence. How comforting is to know Jesus can relate to us despite our fears and concerns!

HOW JESUS PRAYED.jpg

Lord, teach us to pray

In our text, Jesus does not say, “If you pray...”, but “When you pray”. His teaching on how to pray effectively is based on the assumption that we spend time with Him in prayer. Surely, we may come up with many good excuses to avoid praying and say to ourselves “God understands!” However, the truth is that Jesus expects us to pray.

Gospel Conversion

GOSPEL CONVERSION.jpg

Jesus’ transfiguration on the mountain was an extraordinary experience for Peter, James and John. Such a memorable time marked their life forever and prepared them for the ordinary moments in their lives. This sermon challenges you to live the Gospel by moving forward, knowing that if you have been touched by God it isn’t to glorify the experience in itself, but to be inspired by those “heavenly encounters” and  to live the ordinary moments that you may be facing from day to day.

Defragging the gospel (Mark 11:17)

When was the last time you stopped to consider how it is you got to this point? Sometimes we find ourselves doing things because we have done them rather than because it is actually something God has asked us to do. It happens that sometimes the very efforts we give and structures we build in our church communities become a hurdle and a hindrance to the nations receiving the gospel. 2000 years ago taking care of that looked like tossing some tables and chasing merchants out with a whip, what will it look like in your life today?

Lay it down and live it up!

To “lose our life to gain it” is the eternal Christian paradox. Our human nature struggles to rationalize this, and reasons to think that if we let go of our lives, we will surely lose them. Yet, if we want to follow Jesus, we must do it. This is, therefore, a call for faith, both in the overall sense as a commitment to God, and on a daily basis, as we carry our Cross behind Jesus Christ.

Children of God: Meaning, Process, Likeness and Destin

Children of God.jpg

This message was preached in a special meeting where four different congregations, which are using the same building, were gathered together to worship the Lord for being adopted in God’s family and to celebrate the unity of the Body of Christ, the Church.

Why do we sin?

Sin is a universal human problem. It affects both unbelievers and believers. This sermon will help to consider how God Holy Spirit empowers a person to overcome the old life that ignores God, and to adopt attitudes and behaviors that reflect what Christ has done for us on Calvary.

The Expectant Prayer Of A Daring Church

title.jpg

Scripture affirms time and time again that God never fails. Though most of us will acknowledge that is true, we don’t always apply this amazing truth in our prayer life. Yet, as God's children, we can fully trust God’s promises. His covenant with us is not going to fail, no matter what our circumstances may be.

The Kindness of God

In the way that we have experienced the kindness of God, we should be willing to show the kindness of God to those around us.
